I've got an error where I try to uninstall Exchange 2013 :
ReplyDeleteError:
The following error was generated when "$error.Clear();
if (Get-Service WMSVC* | ?{$_.Name -eq 'WMSVC'})
{
Set-Service WMSVC -StartupType Automatic
Start-SetupService -ServiceName WMSVC
}
" was run: "Le service 'WMSVC' n'est pas parvenu à atteindre l'état 'Running' sur ce serveur.".
How do I fix this to reinstall my Exchange ?
Thanks.
so, stupid me installed 2013 in a 2010sp3 environment. now I realize that 2013CU1 is still not available [i installed the 2013 release], and I want to remove 2013. my 2010sp3 installation still works fine, but the 2013 installation fails.
ReplyDeleteQ: is it safe to disable the two arbitration mailboxes in the 2013 database so I can remove 2013?
Yes, remove the arbitration Mailboxes of Exchange 2013 and Uninstall Exchange 2013.
ReplyDeleteHappy to assist if you face any issue
Restart the server once and try to uninstall again, it will resume the uninstallation process.
ReplyDeleteAbove error appears like due to the slow performance of the server, the WMSVC service not able to come to running state.
Please inform if the error appears again
